Update
on 2006-07 Reflections:
Congratulations to Irina P! Her musical composition entry has made it
all the way up to the State Level! Her composition, titled "Russian
Nights Rush", won at the school level, then the SVUSD level, then the 4th
District level (all of Orange County and part of L.A. County), and will
now be entered at the State level. She was honored at the 4th
District ceremony on January 8th. We are extremely proud of
Irina and her accomplishment. Congratulations!!

Work on your 2006-07 Reflections entry this summer. The 2006-07
PTA Reflections program theme is “MY FAVORITE PLACE”.

The Reflections categories are Literature, Musical Composition,
Photography, Visual Arts (drawings, paintings) and new for next year ~
Dance Choreography and Film/Video Production.

Production
Participation in the Reflections Program is organized by school grade.
Student works are critiqued against others in the same grade division. This allows
recognition and judging of artworks by appropriate developmental age and skill levels.
Grade divisions:
Primary (preschool-grade 2)
Intermediate (grades 3-5)
Middle/Junior (grades 6-8)
Senior (grades 9-12)
