Red Ribbon Week 2007
Saturday, October 20 kicks off Red Ribbon Week with the city of
Mission Viejo’s 19th Annual "Walk Against Drugs" Community
Event. During the week of October 22 - 26 students will participate in
various activities in their classrooms on the importance of living a
drug free life. Look for a flyer with specific activities to come home
with your child. It will also be posted on the school website,
www.delcerro.org, when the information becomes available.

Mission Viejo’s "Walk Against Drugs"
Join Astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria, a Mission Viejo High School
graduate, for the City of Mission Viejo’s 19th Annual Walk
Against Drugs on Saturday, October 20, 2007. The walk starts at 8:00
a.m. at the MVHS stadium (25025 Chrisanta). Plan to arrive by 7:30 a.m.
Free t-shirts will be distributed to the first 3,500 participants. The
walk ends at Oso Viejo Community Park where there will be a community
faire complete with food, games, and fun-filled demonstrations.
