| Yearbook sales |
At Del Cerro, we are fortunate to havea chairperson dedicated to organizing and formatting our annual yearbook. Yearbooks may be purchased at the beginning of the school year and may not be available at the end of the year. |
| Upper Grade Planner |
In order to help our upper grade students get organized and prepare for later years, PTA supplies planners to be purchased at the beginning of the school year. |

Family Fun Nights |
Throughout the year, the PTA will invite members and their families to join us for Family Fun. Beginning with our Back to School BBQ! This is an evening early in the school year to reconnect with old pals, and the meal is on us! We also have Beach Blanket Bingo, Fun with Science, and the end of the year Campout. These events are offered at little of no cost to the participants. It’s our way of bringing our families together for an evening. |
| Fun Fridays |
This is just a fun way to end the weekand encourage patents to attend a PTA meeting. When parents attend a PTA meeting, they are given a ticket for their child(ren) to receive a treat on Fun Friday. Otherwise, treats are $.25 each. |
| Teacher Appreciation |
To show how much we are grateful to the amazing teachers we have at Del Cerro, PTA provides luncheon during the week long celebration. |
Bookfair |
During the weeks of Parent-Teacher Conferences, students have the opportunity to attend the Book Fair during class time and after school. A fun evening event is also scheduled for students to attend with their parents. Books can be purchased for family use or to donate to your child's classroom and the library. Book Fair profits contribute to Del Cerro Library and help to fund other PTA projects. |
| The PTA is dedicated to encouraging a healthy life, and smart choices. A week in October, in conjuntion with national events, is dedicated to teaching the kids about the dangers of drugs, and the wisdome of living a drug-free life. The lessons are taught through poster contests, and other fun events throughout the week. |
